DJ Source- (:E), formerly known as 'Saucy Jez', started out as an amateur DJ attending competition nights in Egham by the name 'Heresy'. Finding a love for the craft he stumbled upon another competition night held by Schism's fondly remember Alan Chapman. Connecting with Alan over their similar taste in music, Source-(:E) was brought on as a resident DJ of Schism in September of 2012 to fill the void left at the decks when DJ Force X skipped the country for a few years.
Forwarding the clocks to the current day and he has now taken the reigns to become the runner and promoter for Schism events in both Guildford and Reading. |

DJ Force X has always been a regular on the UK metal music and club scene since the late 90s; having his own online magazine, promoting gigs around Surrey & Hampshire. Also, he was recruited to be the scratch DJ in the Nu-Metal band ‘Zero Cipher’ (releasing 3 albums and touring the UK and Europe).
He secured his 1st residency at ‘The Loft’ rock club in Guildford. Shortly after moving on from there in 2002, he found himself as one of the trio of founding DJs at a new club night called ‘Schism’. He has since DJ’d across various parts of the UK, Europe and USA playing a mess of Rock, Metal and Drum n Bass. DJ Force X also hosts his own show on TotalRock, and has a podcast (DJ Force X in Conversation) where he has had some of the biggest names in music & entertainment join him in conversation. |

The newest member of the Schism collective, is a decade-wise DJ and radio personality, with his middle finger firmly pressed in the face of genre constraints since day one.
The Soundshark started life regularly DJing at university, as well as presenting radio shows, getting to open for Feeder, and playing an afterparty for Kids In Glass Houses during his time there. Once time at university concluded, his DJing adventures took him across further club nights in Surrey, including once onto the hallowed grounds of Quake, and even a wedding in Europe. It wasn’t however, until the advent of the pandemic, that truly supercharged the drive to DJ more frequently. Armed with his set-up to play new music in an old-fashioned way, DJing on Twitch and as a DJ for TotalRock, an invitation for a guest DJ slot at Schism resulted in permanent adoption, and this is where we are now. |

Prior to becoming our resident photographer in Guildford in 2025, Sophie has been photographing gigs, events and all manner of noisy things for nearly two decades. In recent years she's been working for Metal Hammer and touring with Avenged Sevenfold, but her heart and soul lies with capturing the daft poses people pull at All Bar One in the graveyard hours of a Friday night. Strike a pose for her and she WILL capture your best side. (That's both a threat and a promise.)
