DJ Force X has always been a regular on the UK metal music and club scene since the late 90s; having his own online magazine, promoting gigs around Surrey & Hampshire. Also, he was recruited to be the scratch DJ in the Nu-Metal band ‘Zero Cipher’ (releasing 3 albums and touring the UK and Europe).
He secured his 1st residency at ‘The Loft’ rock club in Guildford. Shortly after moving on from there in 2002, he found himself as one of the trio of founding DJs at a new club night called ‘Schism’. He has since DJ’d across various parts of the UK, Europe and USA playing a mess of Rock, Metal and Drum n Bass. DJ Force X also hosts his own show on TotalRock, and has a podcast (DJ Force X in Conversation) where he has had some of the biggest names in music & entertainment join him in conversation. |
I started out in 2010 doing DJ competitions in Egham before I eventually stumbled upon one Alan was organising in Woking in 2011. It was that competition night that got Alan to discuss me as a potential backup DJ for Schism. After I did the second room at Halloween Schism of the same year and asked to do the main room at the end of the night, I was invited to be a regular DJ in September 2012 when Barney skipped the country for a few years, and you've been stuck with me ever since.

The newest member of the Schism collective, is a decade-wise DJ and radio personality, with his middle finger firmly pressed in the face of genre constraints since day one.
The Soundshark started life regularly DJing at university, as well as presenting radio shows, getting to open for Feeder, and playing an afterparty for Kids In Glass Houses during his time there. Once time at university concluded, his DJing adventures took him across further club nights in Surrey, including once onto the hallowed grounds of Quake, and even a wedding in Europe. It wasn’t however, until the advent of the pandemic, that truly supercharged the drive to DJ more frequently. Armed with his set-up to play new music in an old-fashioned way, DJing on Twitch and as a DJ for TotalRock, an invitation for a guest DJ slot at Schism resulted in permanent adoption, and this is where we are now. |
